Each year we host a weekend conference for the entire community that focuses on strengthening your connections with God and others. It takes place during at the beginning of each new year, with a featured speaker as well as various breakout sessions.
Each year, our Youth Choir presents a musical revue called Dessert Theatre. The show follows a theme and is filled with solos, duets, ensembles, and dance numbers. Auditions for the show are held in the fall and extensive rehearsals begin in early January. The purpose of the show is to allow youth to have fun performing various musical numbers and to raise money to offset the cost of their annual Mission Trip.
Disciple Now Weekend (DNW) is an amazing experience for middle and high school students. DNW is centered around small group discipleship in a home setting. The weekend consists of prayer, Bible study, great music, recreation, food, and relationship-building. It’s a retreat without leaving Tallahassee! We kick off on Thursday evening, stay in host homes on Friday and Saturday, and wrap up Sunday morning during Bible study and worship at 11:15.
The Living Last Supper is a dramatic, musical experience for Holy Week as thirteen men portray Jesus and His disciples, re-enacting the events of the upper room where Jesus gathered with His closest companion on the eve of His crucifixion. Music from our sanctuary choir and orchestra is woven throughout as we participate in a DaVinci-like setting of the Last Supper.
Spend some time each Good Friday and remember what Jesus Christ did for you on this day. Our sanctuary is open from 11:00AM until 5:30PM, and all are welcome to drop in and stay as long as you need. We will provide a printed guide containing scripture, reflections, and prayer, and you will also have an opportunity to take the Lord’s Supper.
Each Good Friday we gather in our sanctuary for the Secret Church Simulcast. David Platt, pastor of The Church at Brook Hills and author of Radical, Radical Together, and Follow Me, will lead an intense time of Bible study and a time of prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters across the globe. As you dig deep into God’s Word, you will also be reminded of the suffering of today’s persecuted church. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to join with hundreds of churches and small groups across the United States in focused study and prayer. It will enrich your knowledge of the Word, help you identify with the persecuted church, and equip you to pass along what you learn to others, in order to make disciples of Christ—locally and globally. This is not for the uncommitted or faint at heart—six hours of Bible study and prayer. But if you desire to know God more deeply through His Word and to know His Church more fully around the world, then please join us for Secret Church.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a 1-week camp each June, from 9:00AM until 12:00PM. VBS is for children 4 years old through completion of 5th grade. Through Bible stories, music, recreation, crafts, and snacks, children will learn about the one-of-a-kind love Jesus gives.
At the beginning of each fall semester, we choose a Sunday to wear our favorite team’s colors to worship – just for a fun way to connect with each other, and welcome our college students to Tallahassee!

Hanging of the Green is held on the first Sunday evening of Advent and is a celebration of the beginning of that joyous season. Together we will decorate our sanctuary with greenery and sing Christmas carols. Many music groups will perform special music.
