As college minister, Zach has the privilege of serving, equipping, and hanging out with college students (and adults who love to invest in college students). He seeks to reach the campuses in Tallahassee, the 80,000 college students in Florida, and people around the world with the Gospel.
Zach committed to follow Jesus at age 8 and during the summer between his sophomore and junior years of high school decided to serve God and His church through vocational ministry. In the midst of ups and downs he has experienced God’s truth, grace, and forgiveness…always constant is Jesus as Lord. Zach graduated from FSU with degrees in Political Science and Communications, and prior to FBCTLH has service as Associate Pastor of Students & Education at North Central Baptist Church in Gainesville, Florida.
Zach is married to Shelley, and loves spending time with her and their three children: Jackson, Walker, and Caroline. He’s known for being a people person, having a good time, sarcastic comments, and a Braves tomahawk tattoo.

Favorite Bible verse: Ephesians 2:1-10
Favorite quote: “If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. And if they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and unprayed for.”
