Backpack-a-palooza is an important effort to equip at-risk students with supplies for the upcoming school year. When you participate in Backpack-a-palooza, you will receive the first name, hobbies, and interests, and a list of the supplies that a student who resides at The Hope Community needs. The HOPE Community is a temporary housing facility in Tallahassee for homeless families transitioning to stable housing. Last year, First Baptist supplied over 100 backpacks, helping to give students a great start to the school year.
- Sunday, July 28 – Visit the table in the Welcome Center between 9:30AM – 12:30PM to receive your student’s name and supply list.
- Sunday, August 4 – Drop off filled backpacks in the Connect Center 9:30AM – 12:30PM.
