Operation Christmas Child collection

Christmas in July

Operation Christmas Child has asked several local church partners to do a special “Christmas in July” shoebox collection. In addition to the regular list of suggested gifts to include and avoid, because of the intended recipients of these particular shoeboxes, OCC is also asking donors to avoid giving dolls or action figures, anything with pigs, and anything with a religious symbol or message. As always, OCC will include gospel material in the shoeboxes before they are distributed. FBC can help by donating the content and shipping costs for 10 shoeboxes by Sunday, August 2. For clarity, no actual shoeboxes are needed—just the gift items to be packed later. We will have a large collection box in the Connect Center, and checks can be made payable to Samaritan’s Purse. If you have any questions, please contact Lindsey.
