Located in the Christian Life Center (CLC) of First Baptist Church, our recreation and fitness ministry places importance on enhancing the whole individual through physical and spiritual growth. The CLC is a modern, four-story facility equipped with a basketball and volleyball court, racquetball courts, private aerobics room, a variety of cardiovascular equipment, weight machines, free weights, locker rooms, and even a ceramics room. We offer daily fitness classes and year-round recreational sports leagues within a Christian atmosphere. During the week, First Baptist Church operates Downtown Fitness as a public fitness center within the CLC and makes our athletic facilities, fitness classes, and sports leagues available to our community through a gym membership program.
Court Schedule
Registration fee: Members of First Baptist Church may pay a one-time fee of $10 to register for a complimentary gym membership and receive a keytag for full access to the facility when not reserved for church activities or league play.
Guest fee: Non-members and guests may pay $5 per visit to participate in an activity, such as a fitness class or open-gym basketball.
Fitness classes: After registering, members of First Baptist Church are able to participate in all group fitness classes without charge.
We offer a variety of competitive sports leagues that are open to anyone in the community. League fees vary for each sport, so please contact the designated representative for more information.
