The women’s ministry at FBCTLH exists to equip and empower women of all ages and life stages to be disciple-makers who live out and share their faith within their neighborhoods, communities, and beyond. Using Bible studies, ministry and mission opportunities, and fellowship events, our goal is to enrich the lives of the women in our church family and community for the glory of God.

The Women’s Ministry will be hosting the Spring Fling Dinner and Night of Worship on Sunday, March 5. Ladies who are interested  are invited to be table hostesses and decorate a table. Everyone else is invited to join our table hostesses for a night of fellowship, fun, and worship. The cost is $10 per person.

Our guest speaker will be Pam Cooke, who will be talking about Living a Life of Worship, and we will be led in a time of worship by Traci Ascani and a multi-generational group of praise and worship leaders from our own music ministry. Invite a friend and join us for our Women’s Ministry Spring Fling!

  • Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study — begins January 17, hosted at Kandi Winters’ home. The study, ‘Encountering God’ by Kelly Minter, goes from 9:30-11:30 AM.
  • Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study — begins Wednesday, Jan 11. Hosted at Sandra Wylie’s home, the group is facilitated by Patsy Faircloth. The study is ‘To Live is Christ’ by Beth Moore, and it goes from 9:30-11:30 AM. The cost is $20 per workbook.

To empower the women of FBCTLH to be disciple-makers who live out and share their faith, we offer opportunities throughout the year for women to do just that. All women are invited to engage in our Women on Mission groups, intentional events, custom experiences, and service opportunities throughout the year. Check our calendar for upcoming events or e-mail Jenny Whitaker for details.

Women on Mission Groups: Each group meets monthly from September through May to participate in and support missions work locally and around the world. All FBCTLH ladies are invited to participate! For more information about our monthly projects, meeting dates, or joining a group, please contact Jenny Whitaker.

Women’s Ministry Kick-Off Event: Each September our Women’s Ministry will gather for a time of fellowship and to hear about all upcoming opportunities for the year (September through May).

Strategic Summer Event(s): During the summer, our Women’s Ministry will host an event for all women in our church, providing the opportunity to connect with one another through fellowship and support a local ministry.
