PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE UPDATE #13
Greetings church family,
It is our desire to continue to update you on where we are as we seek God’s guidance and direction as we discern who He has prepared to be our next Senior Pastor.
During our update at the end of January, we shared that we had begun to focus on two candidates and that process continues. Members of the committee have had the opportunity to attend services of the congregations these candidates serve, interacted with them twice more via Skype, and are currently coordinating schedules for them to visit to see and explore our community.
Your encouragement in the form of personal remarks, notes, emails, and your continued commitment to support this effort with your prayers have indeed been felt by your Pastor Search Committee. We want to encourage you to continue in your prayer support as we continue to seek God’s man for His church.
As Paul aptly put it, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9.
