GREECE TRIP – IN THE STEPS OF PAUL
Next year, April 1-10, 2024, Kristin and I are planning to lead a group from our church on a trip to Greece, where we will trace the steps of Paul’s second missionary journey outlined in Acts 16-18. We will fly from Atlanta to Thessaloniki, and from there visit Philippi, Berea, Meteora, Athens, and Corinth. We will then fly home from Athens.
We were blessed to take this trip ourselves last December, and we cannot wait to share what we saw and experienced. Our personal highlights include seeing the jail where Paul and Silas were imprisoned in Philippi, the site of Lydia’s baptism, Mar’s Hill, the Acropolis, and the bema seat in Corinth where Paul stood before Gallio. Examining these things in person brought the Bible and the early church to life in a completely new way.
The trip will be all inclusive, including flights, hotels, meals, and transportation. Everything we experienced, from the food to the hotels to the bus to our guide, was excellent. For more information about our specific itinerary, the cost per person, or deadlines to register, you can check out this link on our Web site (including a video!) or e-mail Kristin at kandgshultz@yahoo.com.
We will also be hosting an informational meeting for all who are interested in going on Sunday, June 11, at 12:30 in the Fellowship Hall where we will share some pictures and some of the experiences from our trip. Space is limited, so please reach out soon if you are interested. We hope that many of you will be able to go with us!
God bless,
