Human Trafficking Awareness Training Lunch
Many people think human trafficking only happens in big cities; but the truth is, it’s happening everywhere, including Tallahassee. Everyone has a role to play in identifying trafficking acts or victims – especially communities of faith.
FBCTLH is hosting a training lunch on Monday, Jan. 22, to help individuals understand how to respond if they suspect trafficking. Topics will include: relevant laws, types of trafficking in Florida, recognizing trafficking in a variety of settings, legal liability, responses and protocols, prioritizing safety, support for survivors, and key resource information.
