Discipleship

FBCTLH firmly believes in the Great Commission. Our heart’s desire is to be faithful to what Christ has command us, as believers, to do: make disciples who make disciples.

One of the ways we do that is in our discipleship cohort groups. A discipleship cohort is a group of like-minded believers who are committed to helping one another grow closer to God by meeting together regularly for Bible study, prayer, and edification.

A cohort is made up of 3-4 people: men with men or women with women. These individuals commit to meeting weekly for 16 weeks for Bible study, prayer, and edification. Each group can decide the location, day of the week, and time for the meeting. The goal at the end of the 16 weeks is for each member of the group to start their own group the following semester. This is the biblical picture of discipleship multiplication.

FBCTLH offers a spring cohort (August-November) and fall cohort (February-May).
