Think, Act, Be Day 50 – Titus 2:11-12

For the grace of God has appeared.

The word “appeared” in Titus 2:11 means “an epiphany.” Normally we would say, “I had an epiphany,” or “I suddenly realized something I had missed all along.” Pastor Titus says, “God’s grace has an epiphany for you. It helps you realize something that you’d missed all along. God’s salvation for all people is here, and it will save you from a life of ungodliness.”

This week, look around for God’s grace to appear in new and fresh ways. Even though it’s been there all along, your focus on Jesus allows you to see God’s surprises more clearly. Now that’s a bright idea.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
